2. Self Analysis

Well, let me start off first by saying that my name is Terrance Prince, and I am from Mobile, Alabama. I am currently 19vears old. I am a graduate from Ben C. Rain High School class of 2009. I was in the band there in which I played the Tuba. I am very talented on that instrument. I love music. I can not go anywhere without listening to music. I have received a scholarship to attend Concordia College-Selma for their band program. It is a small but rather growing college. This summer, I am attending an academic bootcamp program in which I will be learning the college life. I will be getting in shape for the following football season in which the band has to perform.

3. One Major Lesson

In my years, I have learned many lessons in life. One major lesson is respecting parents. To me, parents are here to help us. They are here to set an example for us. They try to teach us right from wrong so that we will not go through the same things they went through. I disrespected my mother one day by staying at work late until 2:00a.m when she told me not to. In result, I ended up wrecking up my car and having to go to the hospital because i broke my arm in three places. Ever since then, i love and always listen to my mother simply because of the very shocking moment I went through. Respect your parent. Good things will come out of it.

4. Something About Me

Well, I am a outgoing person who loves to do many activities. Also, I am a all around laid back person. In spare time, i like to just relax and take off all the stress that was occurred on me. when a job needs to be done, i take care of it right away. I am a family person who loves to be around the family. I am helpful to the community as well as to my household. I am encourageable to all. Most of the time, I just goof off and act crazy. I will not say i am reliable to you, but I am reliable to most People I know. I am trustworthy to all people.

8. Purpose in Life

My purpose in life is to perform whatever task that God has planned for me. If it were truly in my hands, I would say that my purpose in my life would be to gain as much knowledge as possible form whatever source I can, and return or relay that knowledge by becoming a person of some high stature such as a principal, teacher, or a coach. It would really bother one to wonder the earth not knowing their purpose when truly no one does. The main thing is haughty in your doings and your purpose will find you.

10. Philosophy on Life

My view of life is quite simple, there are only good people and bad people on earth. If you are not striving to be a good person, then obviously you must be a bad person. Making a difference positively is the most important thing in my philosophy, but only God can determine one's future so the outcome is but a mystery. Life is truly a gift that is taken for granted daily without even recognizing it. People who have been on this earth tell me daily that life is full of opportunity which is very true considering the stories of some people who seized and opportunity and are now living life to the fullest. But, the thing is what you do with those opportunities that make all the difference in life.

“In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit.”

12. Thank You Haters

Dear non-appreciated,First and foremost, I would like to thank you and honestly say that if it was not for your negativity and will just to want to see me fail, I would not even be writing this letter for you. Also I will not be the man I am today. I worked to the best of my ability to prove you wrong and on graduation day I stunned you all by walking across the stage and receiving my diploma. If it was not for you I would not have gotten a scholarship at Concordia College-Selma for the love of music. College is my next big step and there will be plenty of chances for you to try and bring me down, but just to warn you I'm three steps ahead of you already. I like to think in a different sense that you were my motivation and unknowingly you helped me more than you harmed me. I appreciate all that you have done from preventing me to achieve.Yours truly,
Terrance Prince

13. Thank You Lovers

Dear Person,First of all, I would like to thank you for actually taking out the time to pick me out of the many people in the world to be the person that proves that despite what you say, I am going to be somebody important and essential in the world. Because of you, I can say that God has a purpose for even those who look like there is no hope. At first, I started to believe what you used to tell me and it showed at first in what I did, but then I realize it says in Philippians 4:13 that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. So whatever plan you tried to come up with to make me give up and not believe in myself, it did not work. I am not down and out; I am still standing with my head held high and almost ready to face anything that may come my way. So I would like to thank you for all the negative words that you used to try and discourage me because it gave me the motivation to go ahead and handle my business. So I have written this letter to let you know you fail at your attempt to stop me from succeeding. So once again thank you and I hope you cautious with everything that you do.Always and forever,
Terrance Prince
